Im going through an online library of images in order to drop the
overall file size - these images are stored in a Database, so not
imported directly into FW. How can you see the correct size? If I take
one file as an example, in Bridge it is shown as 94k, in the Finder it
is shown as 104k but when I chose to save from Photoshop it was
showing the file size as 56k. Which one should I trust and is there a
more efficient was of saving them down?

If you’re saving for web from Photoshop then the file size info shown
will be purely about the data within the file. The Finder size
actually tells you how much space on your disk the file takes, and
this is affected by block size, etc. The file is the same, but in web
serving terms Photoshop’s size report is more relevant.
