Firefox scaling oddity

Okay, in my page at
http://www.panoramapostcards.co.uk/vr/system7.html I see it exactly
as intended in Safari; window opens to full screen, QuickTime VR
movie scales to 100% width and 100% height of the page.

This was made by clicking into the page in Freeway 5, pasting in a
QuickTime VR movie that has a custom action applied. All this does is
set the scale parameter to “ToFit” and the width and height to 100%.

When viewed in Firefox, the window scales to fill the display, and
the panorama fits the screen width (i.e. the width IS at 100%). BUT
it is only a fixed 200 pixels high.

Anyone have any idea what on earth is going on? Any ideas for a fix
or workaround? :frowning:

Hi Keith,
Manually adding the following styles to your page should rectify the issue;
.f-lp, #PageDiv, body { height:100% }
(I see you already have HTML set to 100% height)

It looks like Firefox is scaling the QTVR to the height of the parent element(s). By setting these to 100% we remove any ambiguity.
Regards,
Tim.

Ahh, that seems to have done the trick! Although I had to make the
style with .f-lp not first in the list, as Freeway doesn’t like me
making a tag style name starting with a dot. (Which isn’t a proboem;
I understand the reason for this, and it just means using one of a
number of simple workarounds.)

Firefox is now behaving itself - thanks Tim!
