I’m not sure about video tutorials (I don’t know of any) but there is something called “Extended reference for Freeway 7” which is available from our support page:
An easy way to get started is to use a template. There is one called “Ambient” that I think is built in to Freeway 7. If you look at the boxes that are used in this template, you can see that most of them are CSS inflow boxes rather than “layers”. One way to distinguish inflow boxes from layers is that the Inspector palette shows a CSS checkbox (rather than a layer checkbox) and there are no Left/Right/Top/Bottom fields.
