fixed in window

must be losing my mind here, Im sure I have done this before I want the black bar across the top to stay in the browser window even when scrolling down? I checked/unchecked fixed in window/absolute set it to top by 0px and 0% none made a difference??

There isn’t enough content in this page to force a scroll to happen. What happens if you put a bunch of content in the body of the page?

MobileSafari from iOS 5.1 or greater handles position:fixed just fine.
