I don’t think that this should be a problem with freeway…most of the time when the browser screen is made longer/higher you just see more of the background and the actuall page/ content stays the same - it certainly doesn’t expand or create the ‘widescreen’ effect.
It’s actually more work in Freeway to make a “fluid” or “stretchy” site than a fixed-width one. Freeway’s natural layout mechanism encourages you to pick a width and stick to it, and unless you go off the rails by setting widths in percentages, you will naturally have a fixed-width site.
In fact, an alarm will go off (well, an alert box will appear) if you add something to the page in a manner which would cause it to grow wider.
OK I think I understand that now, the only other thing I have noticed is that sometimes when I view in other browsers the look is not right.
I have a rectangle grey box with text inside, Safari is great while IE shows text out side the bottom of the box, it does not overspill left and right only at the bottom…
Any ideas?

I’m not sure what the rest of your site is like but, assuming you’re
using layers, the normal way to stop that happening is to click the
little icon beside the ‘height’ attribute in the Inspector. That will
allow the box to expand with the text when it enlarges.
