I think the supported browsers are as follows:
Firefox 3.5+ , Opera 10+, Safari 3.1+, Chrome 4.0.249.4+
I’d be surprised if IE on the Mac supported it, but I could be wrong. It’s working just fine here on Safari 4.0.5, Firefox 3.6.2, Chrome 5.0.307.11 and IE7/8.
Anyone else having problems with this page?

Have changed that, but neither font work still. I’ve viewed the page on MacBooks, iMacs, G3 and G5 using IE 5.5+ and Safari 1+ etc. but only the substitute fonts show up (Trebuchet).

Hi Nathan,
There’s an error in the CSS - the reference to PhoenixScriptFLFRegular just says PhoenixScriptFLF. Changing it to PhoenixScriptFLFRegular will work (though I appreciate that this may have been generated using the Action).

Just to clarify, pretty much every font on Font Squirrel should work in the latest browsers on both Mac and PC?
As I picked 2 at random and neither work (unless I’m missing something or have not implemented correctly). It works locally, but on no other computer.

As this method is a form of distribution, you should be aware of font licenses when using this Action. As far as I can tell Helvetica Neue can’t be used this way, even if you were to pay for a license to use it.
To be safe you should really only use the fonts from here (they’ve shortlisted all the free fonts suitable for this use): http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface Not only are they free, there are also some really nice ones too.

It is an action created by Paul Dunning http://actionsforge.com/projects/view/103-caxton
It allows you to specify specific fonts and guarantee their display across browser and platform.
