Forcing a checkbox to align in a table

Is this possible?

I have created a table in which mulitiple check box’s reside with text next to each check box.

16 px height for each row seems to be the minimum height achievable, can you force this to be smaller?

But I just want the checkbox to align with the text for each individual line because at the moment the check box sits a few pixels higher than the text???

Please help me…lol

Have you tried vertically centering the text in the cell?

With the cell/row selected click on the Cell icon in the Text inspector and then under Table Cell choose the middle alignment option. (Text vertically centered)

I had done that, just tried aligning them at the top - it works for some reason!!!

Thanks Dave

Be sure to check this across a number of different browsers. Aligning
form elements to text is one of the trickier things in Freeway. What
seems to work the best is to have no alignment specified,
unfortunately that’s hard to accomplish in FW. If you can somehow get
the code to be nothing but this:

<input type="checkbox"... /> Some text here

…that’s pretty much ideal and rock-solid across browsers.

Even better (more semantic) would be this:

<input id="myBox" type="checkbox" ... /> Some text
here
