I have a Freeway made web site with a form on the contact page. I used the send form action, the page version, and added the appropriate email, sender fields etc.
When it comes to the user selecting who their email goes to, I have tried both methods, one with a single recipient, and one with a drop down list where the user can choose between information, sales and support.
It works… sort of… I get most of the emails that I send as a test, but they take a long time. Just tested now and the time between “send” and actually receiving the email was about 20 minutes. Not that it’s a problem for the final, but the delay makes testing really slow.
In addition, when I use the drop down list, I sent an email to each of the 3 items, information, sales and support. So far I’ve only received one of them… can’t tell if this is working or not.
The server is php 5.3
Any idea on what might be causing the lag and the (apparent) unreliability of the choosing recipients from a list?
Thanks.
