Forms

Hi Folks

This is my first post and so I hope I am the correct place. I am trying to construct a contact form on my website www.alanmccabe.biz so far I have created the form and it works with a php script action applied to the page. I am however having problems setting up the form fields to be aligned. I am using FW Pro 5 and on the screen they all look aligned however on the website they are not showing as I expected. If someone has a moment to look under my contact page. In FW Pro all the fields are right justified and line up under my contact name and address. Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks in Advance

Alan

Alan,

Select each cell and that the fields are in and then set them to left align, select the text for each field title and set them to right align.

It might also help you to select the text and set the cell contents to align centrally vertically (middle) along with the cells that contain the text fields (Not the text area), this way the text and fields should also align horizontally.

I have an action called:
Form Element Styler, see here:
http://www.easibase.com/freeway/freewayactions.php

This will allow you to easily style the fields, see the contact form on the easibase site for an example of this action.

As Mike suggests if the form items have been placed within a table that you have created on the page 2 cols X 4 rows(?) - then it purely a case of aligning the contents of each table cell.
