Frame Question for SMOFs*

*Secret Master of Freeway!

OK, newbie/no-nothing in over my head. . . working on a site with frames. Just wondering, if in all the frames in the master frameset, I type in their dimensions and click “no resize”, why they change their size. Any way to lock the frames?
Here it is, don’t laugh. . .

The noresize option just stops end-users from resizing the frames in their browsers and ruining your design!

I presume that you are talking about the dimensions of the middle section of the page. Looking at your site, it appears that the framesets have relative heights. To fix this select the middle frameset and ensure that the ‘px’ button is selected in the ‘Current Frameset’ section. Then select the bottom frameset and uncheck the ‘Size’ check-box in the ‘Current Frame’ section.

This will make your middle section a fixed height and the bottom section will resize accordingly to fill up any empty space
