Free responsive HTML5 slideshow - Slippry

Appreciating my comment sounds more kinda “thanks, but sucks”, so let me be a lil bit more detailed:

CERTAINLY things will work. Regarding “one function” in one page. Being some moons member of this list now, I know enough about the audience and its attitude, especially this one I “love” very much:

Cannot wait to see your step-by-step tutorial in figuring out how to integrate Slippry into Freeway Pro with Backdraft template!

Slice and butter bread, cut it into small pieces - i do so hard to chew and swallow!

But back to main:

You can do whatever you want to do and you can place wherever you want to place things. As long as it works - good. But it should be noted that there are several application internal and external actions. Just in case you’ve never heard of them, they’re mostly prefixed by “Scripty” or “FX”. Those actions (beneath others) use to introduce another JS library - (Scriptaculous and Prototype).

Better avoid running both. But if in need, making those two different (nearby the same) libraries running side-by-side it may happen, that you have to “no-conflict” them. And exactly here it’s important to run Scriptaculous and Prototype first, followed by jQuery.

Dealing with external code is everyones own brew, possible - but dangerous. One of several reasons I stopped actively supporting this stuff.

Cheers

Thomas
