I have been using FF more recently and it has come to my attention that the FreeCounter Alt Tag is visible on my FF viewed pages.
Is there something I can do to avoid this?

Download the latest FreeCounter2 Action, and upload your sites with
it. This was patched a few months ago.

Okay, take a look now. I found an interesting error on the server, the
file wasn’t being served correctly. The hits were still being counted,
but the image was arriving in a corrupted form. For some reason, that
triggered Firefox to show the Alt text.

So the issue was with your server where the image is hosted for everybody - now sorted.
OK - thanks.
