Freeway 4 and Leopard

Hello

I’ve just treated myself to the latest iMac with Leopard.

I use Freeway 4.0 on my old iMac (10.2.8) so have downloaded the update to get Freeway to work on my new machine.

Before I bring in my websites, is there anything else I should do? Are there any surprises in store for me when I open them or will my sites simply open with Freeway 4.4.2 and look and work exactly as before?

Thank you,
Pauline

If you are only upgrading from 4 to 4.4.2 then I don’t think you will have any issues.

A bigger leap would be from 4 to 5 which has caused problems for some users.

peter got his printed reference manual yesterday from Trafford
Publishing, and it’s pretty nice. (could use an upgrade on the normal
pages, the dividers are perfect)
i suspect both it, and the very very helpful Users Guide that comes
in the boxed versions would be better to the hand if they were
developed in portrait as opposed to landscape mode, a format which
renders them awkward to use on desk, chair, potty, and in bed.
casual warning, it took about a full month to receive my manuals
(bought 2; same shipping) once they were ordered.
happy as a high tide clam with books and freeway-pro.
threw down pretty big bucks too on a new macbook pro 17" to run it,
as the 'ol ti-book was choking on the photo scans.
much more pleased with my decision to run Freeway that the one i made
on the new macbook. the old bastard size 1152 screen on the ti-book
is just “nicer” than the new 1680 to my bifocal’d eyes and unbending
neck.
foolish greed got to me on the new laptop… dang.

thanks to all,
peter v.
