I don’t really want to criticize Fw5 but must say that I consider myself very fortunate to have bought Fw4 latest ver. just prior to the release of 5. I immediately downloaded 5 when it was made available and tried it on a site under development with immediate problems.
My needs being simple went back to 4 and after some reconstruction, was back in charge.
Not being a programmer I find all the problems and suggested solutions to not be worth the trouble.
If you have the latest version of Fw4 my feeling is that you’ll be better off sticking with it till all the bugs are worked out of ver. 5. Certainly I realize that all the complaints are assisting Softpress in their debugging efforts but how much time should we be expected to waste helping improve something we paid for in confidence. Fw4 should be made available to all purchasers of 5 if they ask for it.

Well, perhaps you could share about the problem’s you’re experiencing. Freeway 5 isn’t vastly different than 4, you just get some pretty new actions and more capabilities. Which in turn could cause more bad than good or good than bad.

So without opening a can of worms, what seems to be the problem’s you’re having?
