Freeway 5 Pro good upgrade?

I realize that new versions are always going to have a few issues,
but those that have upgraded to version 5 pro, are you for the most
part happy with your upgrade? We own a couple of licenses of Freeway
Pro 4 (upgraded from version 3 pro). I almost ordered upgrades
yesterday, but couldn’t find the link to order upgrades via the
online store (only new licenses).

I have found quite a few bugs in the current version of Freeway (5.1.1). Some crashing, others less severe ( I have reported all of the crashing bugs and spent the time to create recipes so Softpress can reproduce them - I am less inclined to do the same with some of the other issues - just don’t have the time).

I am a new user as of 5.1, so it is tough to say whether previous versions are less problematic, but there are numerous issues with the current version. Have they been show stoppers? No… but I have learned to save often to avoid losing work.

Hi - a short note from the heart of engineering to say how much we appreciate these sorts of recipes. Repeating a bug means that we are able to figure out the cause and to write a fix.

As far as deciding if the upgrade is worth doing - I of course encourage you to upgrade. However in your position what I would do is download the trial and work with that. After 30 days (the length of the trial) you should be able to get a good feel for the product.

Best regards
