Can’t seem to find any details on installation. Does dragging Freeway 7 to the applications folder overwrite Freeway 6? And then do websites converted to work in Freeway 6 (which was a trial, to say the least) operate correctly in 7? As a non-geek I need explicit instructions before taking the plunge! Thanks.
Once you have downloaded FW7 then change its name from Freeway Pro to Freeway Pro7 (or similar) and then it will not overwrite your existing Freeway Pro app when you drag it into the Applications folder.
I always change the default name to reflect the version so that I can roll back if it all goes horribly wrong.
Currently I have Freeway Pro565 Freeway Pro612 and Freeway Pro7 and older ones are suitably named and placed in an Old FW versions folder.
The only thing to remember is that Freeway 6 introduced a new Actions Folder path. Freeway 6 and 7 share this new path, at ~/Library/Application Support/Freeway Pro/Actions. I believe there may be an automatic migrate from the old path to the new at first run, but I haven’t tested that lately. There are fundamental differences between Actions for Freeway 5 and Freeway 6 and 7, notably in how styles are set on objects from within an Action. You need to go through your current stable of third-party Actions and confirm if there is a newer version in the Forge.

Worth noting: when FW updated from 5 to 6 the icon changed so that you could differentiate the programs on the task bar should you still be working on both platforms.
