Hello, I am a journalist building my first website, and I am probably going to ask a stream of stupid questions as I go along, but my biggest issue so far seems to be the weird text changes that occur between my writing something on a master page and what it looks like in preview. For example, plain text will suddenly become bold on the published site, even though it is definitely plain on the working version. Can anybody tell me how to troubleshoot these kinds of problems? Thanks so much.

Doesn’t that go with the job? :wink:

As to your question, the layout view does not necessarily represent how a browser will appear depending on the browser. it sounds like you have set an H style (h1, h2, h3) that shouldn’t be. Probably the simplest way to start is to select the text objects then in the styles pallet set style to none.
