I am still evaluating should i use the Freeway product, if i want some control over the Footers and Headers which product will work best. I am not an experienced Web designer but i have been using iWeb for about 2 years …
I began using Freeway a couple of months ago when I realized that I could no longer have comments on my blog because I had to move to a 3rd party host (because mobileme is going away). I really love Freeway and am happier with it than I was with iWeb.
I’m not real sure about control over the Footers and Headers, but I can tell you that my site looks much more professional with Freeway, and I’m not an experience Web designer either. I have also found the people on Freeway Talk to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Support is so much better with Freeway than iWeb. It could also be that you’ll find that what was important to you on iWeb is not as important on Freeway because there are better ways to accomplish the same purpose. I’ve done things on Freeway that I didn’t even know to ask for. And I’m a pretty basic user.

I have spent a little time trying to understand how to use Rapid Weaver and one of the key items that concerned me is that working with Themed Web design packages, it is very difficult to even create or edit the Footer ( which i use to insert other links to the site)
