Freeway files in Xway

Hi Jeremy,

I’ve read that you are getting ready to release Beta 2. Will it be able to open Freeway files and save them as Xway files with everything working? I hope it will but if not, when do you foresee this happening?

Hi Álvaro,

We’re still adding core functionality to Xway. We can’t usefully read Freeway documents until we support most of the functionality that is in Freeway.

We are planning to do this, but it will take us some time to get there.

My advice would be to use Xway for new or redesigned sites, but to continue using Freeway for old sites.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply Jeremy.

That’s what I am currently doing, but hopefully next year we’ll be able to transfer a few sites from Freeway to Xway and take advantage of all its benefits.
