I cannot find out how to start a new post so am doing it here. Please forgive this newbie.
I can upload my work via fetch, but always get the error, "Cannot complete upload because the user or password is incorrect. [530 Login authentication failed]
However I have entered everything just as I did using Fetch as well as my account on godaddy.

Have you double checked you details are correct? If the ftp error message say your details are wrong then it probably right. Us poor human are feeble at getting passwords right where machine are matter of fact.
Check for things like leaving spaces (spacebar) at the end of the password field.
