New to Freeway - brilliant software. I run my own design and print company, but without a web presence.
Just didn’t have the time to learn dreamweaver.
Anyway I have laid out the master for my site and have loads of ideas, just need to see if I can put them into practice.
Gone through the tutorials, but need to learn more about the Action lists etc.
My question is a part of my site I would like to add the following and would like to know if this is possible in Freeway.
I have some icons on the page as a link to each part of my site, when a users clicks on these I would like them to bounce.
I would like some text to roll in and out of a box to be replaced with another set of text (special offers) on the top of an image.
All help greatly appreciated.

Not a whole lot of options for “bouncing” icons. If you want a Mac dock bar approach I think you’ll have to go to Adobe Flash with that. The sliding text perhaps could be done using the Transition FX.
It could get complicated thinking out the circus that will ensue with “clicking on this will do this and then hide this and then show this…” that sorta deal.
Perhaps someone else can chime in here.
But as a rule “If it’s complicated for you to understand, it’s a sure bet that it will be impossible for the users who visit the site.”
It sounds like creating a flash file with embedded links would achieve this as you would have to delay going to another page, to actually see the icons bounce before going the destination page.
Again flash would be this.
(Using flash only for the navigation could ruin your sites visibility for the search engines, so if you pursue this path, make sure you have other HTML links elsewhere on the page. also what can be a novel effect for a new visitor can be intensely annoying for frequent visitors to your site.)
