Featured Freeway Site - Mollison’s:
An upscale inn in Kyneton, Australia uses Freeway to create their beautiful website. To get the most out of a visually simple yet comprehensive design, they make striking use of the Mootools Suite to create sliding boxes and slideshows.

Freeway Tips and Tricks - Rounding the Play Button:
Have you wanted to spruce up the button in your site’s embedded QuickTime movies? To ensure validation and compatibility across as many browsers as possible, the code generated by the QT Reference Movie Action had to be toned down a bit, leaving the button rectangular and less than beautiful.

If you know that the majority of your users are viewing your site in Safari or Firefox, you can add a bit of code to your page that will round the corners, making the button look great. Here’s how:

  1. After applying the QT Reference Movie Action (included with Freeway Pro and Freeway Express), select “HTML Markup…” from the Page menu.
  2. Select "Before " from the pulldown menu at the bottom of the dialog (note the / before head - this is important.)
  3. Paste the following code in the dialog box:

.playButton {
opacity: .8;
filter: alpha(opacity=80);
-moz-border-radius: 1em;
-webkit-border-radius: 1em;
zoom: 100%;

.playBackground {
opacity: 0.0;
filter: alpha(opacity=0);

That’s it! Click OK and preview in your browser(s) to see the change.

Sweet. (The link for templates has a period at the end, so it doesn’t go anywhere but to a 404 page)

Cool stuff.
