If you’re running Freeway on that same iBook, you could use the File
Copy method of Publish to move the files into your MAMP web root (not
sure exactly where that is, but I’m sure it’s documented).
Similarly, if the iBook is on your local network, then you can connect
to it using File Sharing (just enable that feature in the Sharing pane
of System Preferences) and use File Copy for that. You will connect to
the iBook/server using the Go / Connect to Server menu item in Finder,
then authenticate to that machine, navigate to the folder where you’ve
placed the Web files, and publish.
I believe (haven’t tried this in quite a while) that if you save the
password in your keychain when you connect the first time, subsequent
times you won’t even need to manually connect before uploading again.

Hi All
I’m useing an iBook - OSX10.4.11 - to run MAMP. I’m useing an iMac
to design the web sites.
Is it possible to use the iBook as a local host so I can upload the
Freeway pages to it and check out the site.
This saves me uploading to my host web server all the time. If so,
how does one set it up??
