Freeway Pro Return Policy

I want to purchase freeway pro to build templates for my blogger site from PSD. Since I am HORRIBLE with photoshop slicing to dreamweaver madness I want to try something easier. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me whether freeway pro has a return policy or not, and if so, what is it?

Thanks!

Softpress offers a fully-functional trial version, which is identical to the paid version in every way – except that it turns into a pumpkin and four mice when 30 days are up. You are expected to use this version to get to know Freeway, as there are no refunds for the paid version.

Thanks for the reply!

Actually, I am using the softpress download right now and the File>import is totally grayed out. Is there another way to get my psd file on there so I can start building a site from it.

Also, I assume since I won’t be slicing up prior I can build up a blogger template in freewaypro with complete freedom, as opposed to dreamweavers maniacal nightmarishness? Can I bring my psd into freewaypro and then place the things I need…like where my featured posts will be, my blogs/posts will be, snippets of those posts, header, background, navigations yada yada onto it…then replace the images with my own cutups outside of freewaypro to avoid any change in them? I ask because I designed a gorgeous layout with high res color, and quite a few gradients. I worry that png-24 (millions) simply won’t cut it, and will be unnecessarily bulky nonetheless!

File / Import from the main document level? I can see why that wouldn’t work. If you draw a graphics box on the page, you should be able to import any photo document into that box without restriction. Freeway can handle most of the file formats that Photoshop can, and in any resolution.

If you draw a graphics box on the page

Yes - this has to be emphasised as the critical part. Graphic images get imported into Graphic containers.

An alternative is of course to place the psd as a background image using the Page or item inspector and use it to build your page on top. But this is not for production as a psd shouldn’t be used as a bg image - wont display in all Browsers - but it would work to help your construction.

It’s worth pointing out that you can drag and drop an image onto a Freeway page. That’s a good alternative to File>Import
