Funky doc settings web address issue

Both the file upload and FTP controls in F6P have a web address field. This should not be necessary for file uploads to my local directory.

In any case, if I go to Document Settings and put the web address in the FTP upload panel, it deletes it from the file upload panel and vice versa.

The Facebook actions require a web address or an error is generated, which means that the web address has to be in both the FTP and file upload panels.

This means that if I want to upload a copy to my hard drive (for instances when I want to upload individual items via FileZilla) I have to enter the web address and then, when I want to upload via FTP, I have to enter the web address all over again.

Is there a fix for this or do I need to wait for a patch?

Thanks.

Hi Trey,

You can/should use the same web address for both upload methods. It should contain the web address of the site once uploaded to your web server.

Hope this helps,

Joe

What I am saying is that I have to manually enter the web address every single time I upload. Freeway cannot retain the web address data in both the FTP upload panel and File upload panel.

If I enter it in the FTP upload section and then switch to file uploads the web address field is empty. When I put the address in the File upload section and go back to the FTP upload section, the address field is blank again. It doesn’t matter if I try to set it in the document setup panel or a la carte. If this is done in the document setup panel and saved, the web address should remain in both.

Ah, I see what you mean – I’ll get it logged. Thanks for the heads up.
