FW pro requires original computer for upload

I created a new Freeway Pro web site on my wife’s computer several years ago. Later I moved the site to my computer on the same network. (this was years ago on FWP4, now using FWP5.4) Whenever I upload the site, it asks for my wife’s computer, and if her computer is not connected physically to the same network as my computer, the page won’t upload. Here is the message I get:

“Connection failed The server ‘wifescomputer’ may not exist or it is unavailable at this time.Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again.”

I get this message even if the other computer is connected to the network, and I just click OK and go through the screens and it will eventually upload just fine. But if her computer is not connected, I can’t upload.

I’m hoping someone can tell me a box to check or something to change so that the original computer is not required. Thanks for any help!

Edit / Resources. Go through the missing listed images and re-connect them to local copies. After you’ve done all of those, set the publish folder in Document Setup to a local folder. Those are the two publish-time things that need to be connected correctly to pass this gauntlet.

Thanks Walter - I’ll give that a shot. I’ve got hundreds of photos to relink so it may take me a while, but it will be worth it if that solves the issue…

If you put all these photos in 1 folder on your Mac (FW Media folder is a good place) then often once you relink 1 then FW will ‘find’ the others in the same place.
