Getting rid of an iFrame

Are there any alternative ways to getting a database and it’s
information on the FW page without using an iFrame.

Basically I would creatie/design the page leaving an area for
information to be displayed, but my client doesn’t like the look of
iFrames.

I already know this is possible and probably by an infinite way, I’m
not asking for anyone to spend any time thining too much about this,
just a wee point in the right direction of possible solutions.
I will be working with the back-end database guy, but wanted some
heads up so I at least knew of some options.

Thank you as always!
