.gif files not being published?

To see what I mean:

http://www.euroalter.com/article_subpages/article2european.html

I have tried numerious ways to solve this, but to no avail?? Why when I preview it in freeway does it look fine, and when I preview in browser it looks fine, its only once FTP’d does the .gif file in the background not display?

Could there be an issue with the photoshop file?

If its the file back_btn.png in a folder called “tests” with the URL …/tests/Resources/back_btn.png

Do you have a directory on your server called ‘tests’? I don’t think the browser can’t find the image.

How did you put in this URL?

Ah Har!!! he says!

Yeah, typical the only thing I didn’t even realise I was doing!

I had created a ‘tests’ folder within the site to ‘test’ various things/looks out etc, upon uploading the site I always deleted the folder ‘tests’ from the site folder, where now it seems the png’s/gifs were or are being referenced!

Hopefully it will work with next upload!

Thanks a billion

What GIF? I looked at the page source and couldn’t see a background
image reference anywhere in the HTML or CSS code.

GIFs are being published. For example, the greyscale photo inset into
the top of your text is generated as a GIF.

Are you certain that is the same page as the one you’re looking at in
Freeway? Are you uploading using Freeway? Are you editing the HTML
code outside of Freeway?

Sorry, Its wans’t set as a backgroun dimage, purely a graphic file sent to the back.

Yes the GIFs are being published, it was down to the fact that when I was uploading I deleted the folder that the page was refernecing the GIF from.

My bad!

Thanks both K and David for the help.
