Global change to page size

Sigh…
I now have most of my site built out based upon a template of 700w x 500h…but kept running into problems moving over content form my old site.
I found out that the old site is 960w x 700 h.

Is there a way to change my new site to the new dimensions without causing complete havoc? I tried to change one of the master pages, but the changes did not stick – I guess because the wohle site is set-up where on a template at 700 x 500.

Thanks

Figured it out – just go to back to File>Document Setup.

The reason i did it at all – and the problem that I still have – is that my designed (not HTLM) type sizes still seem really large, even though in many cases i am down to 9-10p.

Does page dimension affect the relative size of type? I see a lot of sites that have very small, subtle type (such as at the bottom for things like “site map” or “contact”. Mine still seem very large relative to the page, even though they are, again only 9 or 10 px.

Could you give us a link to your page? This really is needed for us
to make meaningful comments and suggestions.

I do not have the site posted anywhere yet. I’ll find someplace to do that this week so this is easier.

Post it somewhere, anywhere, and ask again. I may be speaking out of
turn, but I think until then I don’t think we can help more on this
one.

Agree. I have made it hard on you.

When you say post somewhere, anywhere? Where?

I obviously am not familiar with where/how to do that. I have always paid for web hosting on my current site but have not actively managed the files.
