Does anyone have a suggestion for a good tutorial source (or book) for learning syntax for MySQL.

I need to do some queries on a database and just need a point in the right direction.

Thanks,
Robert

Have you looked at the official docs? [http://dev.mysql.com/doc/](http://dev.mysql.com/doc/). Also a Google search for ‘MySQL books’ or ‘MySQL tutorial’ turns up quite a bit.

Todd,

Found the official docs and have done some Googles. With so much out there, I was hoping someone had a solid opinion on the subject and/or experienced advice.

I don’t have this specific book [http://www.amazon.com/MySQL-Tutorial-Luke-Welling/dp/0672325845](http://www.amazon.com/MySQL-Tutorial-Luke-Welling/dp/0672325845) but I do own their PHP/MySQL Development bible. They do good work.
