I’ve noticed lots of spelling errors as of late and figured it was me. I purposely mis-spelled things and spellcheck didn’t get it. Sup?

The spellcheck errors I was seeing “seem” to have been cleared up in 5.1.2. Is that the version you’re using?
With that said, I have sent several spell check issues (including sample files) to SP and some of them they have been able to reproduce and others not. So I wouldn’t be surprised if there is something mysterious going on.
If you’re using 5.1.2 and this is reproducible in your file you should fire it off to FW support.

I am using 5.1.1 because anytime I upgrade versions every page on a website will need to be re-uploaded. I have a few sites which contain large downloads, therefore those pages will need to be a fresh upload and I didn’t have time to wait for that at this time.
I will upgrade now.
