Well I have decided to try a little experiment on two different sites using Page>HTML markup on one and the action on another.

So we will see what happens.

Admittedly both on a page by page basis rather than applying the action to the site folder.

Dave,

here is the site in question:

http://www.energychex.com

I can see the html file for my personal page in my cpanel like Thomas said would be there, but I do not see that html file in the cpanel of energychex.com

Hi Thomas

I must admit I haven’t seen a URL to the page/site in question to look for myself.

But Google say to place the code before end head - rather than Julie’s page where it is before end body.

Consider whenever posting “code snippets” online, especially a community forum set up like this, that you remove the account information number and fill it with something else.

Although it is randomly generated you never know who is lurking around.

Hi guys,

Sorry, only just picked up on this. We’ve been using the 5.5 method on the Softpress site for some time now with no problems. I just had a look at the Analytics site though and the code they’re now providing now is very slightly different. I’ll run some checks and if necessary update the Action.
