Google searching issue

I’m in process of doing a website for a poet, and Google is showing it up under searches under his name as:

item3f1a2a2

and not the name of the website itself,

Can anyone tell me how to change this? I haven’t had this problem before.

Many thanks.

This really boils down to using quite a lot of graphic text and leaving the Alt text and/or image name(s) as FW assigned them.

For good SEO you really should go through all the graphics and give them meaningful names like ‘Home button/link’ - and in this case use the CSS Menu action which is Google friendly/searchable.

Thanks for this, David. I’ll go through the Alt text & rename it.The item showing up in the Google searches is the composite rollover button I made for the Home page.

Sorry for taking a couple of days to repost here. I’ve been offline since Thursday – back on this morning. I appreciate your help.

Best wishes

Consider using the far more SEO friendly CSS Menu action instead.

You can get the same look.
