Graphic/text box ruins top menu bar

I am a NEWBIE. Last used front page 2007. I created a css menu bar. I can not put a graphic underneath because it then changes where the text on the menu bar is. I know this has to be simple, but please help. Is there a way to lock certain things in place so that if I put another text/graphic there it doesn’t through it off? Thanks in advance.

You dont say what version of FW you are using - Express or Pro.

If Pro it may be that your menu is showing behind the graphic and this can be fixed by selecting the CSS Menu and bringing it to the front. Item>Bring to Front (Cmd=)

I have Pro 5.5. Just purchased it 3 weeks ago. Thank you that worked but now… I am trying to put the graphic box over the title box (under the menu bar) so now when I put the graphic box, at a angle, when I go to preview the title box is now all the way over to the left side of the page. I can’t move this box behind my title box because it has a colored background.
Thanks in advance.
And thanks David!

Boxes? Behind and over in an angle to the left???

Could you probably share any visual guidance (link, screenshot) or stuff to have a quick look into what you’d like to achieve?

Cheers
