Pro 5.1.1
I could swear that, at some point in experimenting with actions applied
to images, I found one which created an interior or exterior drop shadow.
I have just been through everything I see under Item Actions, and have
yet to find it.
Am I thinking of something else, or am I tripping over it and not seeing it?

Try looking under the appearance section of the Inspector.
