here is my question - if i redirect the domain to a nother server …
how do I redirect the mail or do I just recreat the mail on the new server and things will go there?

I have sent messages to James Wilkinson at all 3 of the email addresses I have for him. No reply yet. Maybe it is time to look for another host?

I just used https://havehost.zendesk.com/home but I’d be interested to know if there was a more direct route to James/HaveHost, bearing in mind the time difference.

I posted a ticket there as well, but I am not even sure that support site is still active.

The Have Host Twitter account hasn’t been updated since October 2011 and the last I heard from them was when I paid my invoice last July.

I know it is easy to panic when you get a call from a client saying their site is down but sh*t happens.

I think the outage lasted about 2 hours from what I can tell and in my time zone that was between 5:30pm and 7:30pm.

I appreciate for other TZ’s that it would have more of an impact with the US being down late morning/early afternoon.

But still, how many of you were caught in the BlackBerry blow up - you have to put things in perspective.

While none of us like this happening there aren’t any hosting providers guaranteeing 100% up time.

I quite agree David. Sh*t does happen and no harm was done. James responded really quickly. I merely wanted to know if I was the only one affected or not, but now I have Walt’s link.

Hi , never used this before, but trying to find James Wilkinson of have-host because all our email and site down this morning and it’s 3am in canada so can’t rouse him.

bothered that i can’t seem to find any presence for have-host on the internet any more. has he changed name of company

and does any one have a very speedy way of accessing him.

also is anyone else having problems with have-host domains today?
