Hi All As Of last week I cannot get my site to upload any new info , Tex, Pics Etc…it goes half way then I get an error message server not responding. I have never experienced any isuues until now any help would be appreciated. Unfortunitly unable to update anything on my site which is not good for business.
It could be the host server. I had that problem for a day or two after they migrated things over to new servers. I contacted my host and they fixed it.
An alternative is to see if you can upload to a subfolder on your server using FW.
Instead of the path being …/public_html Create a subfolder (use Transmit or similar) like www.yoursite.com/test and change your upload path to …/public_html/test - and see if that works.
Could you try uploading again two more times please. For both attempts
check the Save FTP Log option, for one check the Passive FTP Mode
option and the other uncheck it. Freeway will store a transcript of
the uploads in the following folder:
Home/Library/Logs/Freeway 5/FTP Log/
Could you then send it in to support(a)softpress.com please along with
the name of your webhost.
Many thanks,
Joe

I did the uploads two three ten more times sent the file . I also went back to 5.3.2 and that has not worked . As of today it is not getting any better. I really am at my wits end with this program.
At least it will tell you if it is just FW that is having problems.
Under similar circumstances I have also made sure that I have cleared all content from the log in/upload settings. Saved the file and then after closing and reopening have re-input the details before trying again.
I am sure you have tried this but it is worth typing your password into a text document where you can actually read and check the characters before copy/pasting into the password box in FW.
good point . A fews times earlier tried uploading and it goes from 1200 to about 700 or it will go from 1200 to 1100 then completely stalls out and then you get the error message. I am not even really sure but it seems like it might not be saving my changes even in freeway,???
