Have you had any luck Peter? I noticed that my website is down –
again. I don’t understand all of the rosy reports about Have Host. My
experience has been consistently disappointing. I wonder how many other
Have Host websites are down.

I’ve got four down in Toronto. 12:45 pm here. I can’t access the Have-host site either. I’m glad it’s Sunday and hope this gets solved today.

Responding to my own message. There have been several hiccups over the last year and James isn’t at all as responsive as he once was. Does anyone have any recommendations for Mac and Freeway-friendly hosting organizations? TIA es

Hi Ed,
I just rebooted [my VS] Apache and that fixed the websites I have down.
Go into your WHM in your “Super” Control Panel near the bottom on the
left you’ll find “Restart Services” click that then restart HTTP Server
(Apache). HTH

Hi Peter,
This is very cool, but I can’t seem to get to the right spot. My
control panel just says “cPanel X” not Super Control Panel. I was able
to get into WHM, but there is no option to restart. Any ideas what I’m
doing wrong? Thanks,
Richard

By some miracle, my website is back up. However, I’d still be
interested in knowing how to restart my server.

Absolutely – ineedwebhosting.co.uk David Owen, who regularly participates on freewaytalk is fantastically responsive. I often wonder when or if he sleeps. And I’ve been high maintenance, too, as a rather rank beginner. I’d recommend David and his company without reservation.

I don’t normally like to badmouth, but the lack of response to what I
believed was a very simple question is the reason I didn’t go with
HaveHost a couple of years ago with about 5 sites.
I suggest ineedwebhosting every time.

I’d second this one.
