Help. Site not uploading

Hi. Sorry if this has come up before. Every time I try to upload my site using freeway pro 5.5 it tells me that the host could not be resolved. What can I do? The hosting website I’m using is freezone, if that helps.

I would double check your FTP login settings with a good FTP program. I use Cyberduck a shareware program that you can find on Apple’s website.

You need 3 pieces of information to log into the root directory of most FTP sites.

  1. Domain or IP address is?

  2. username is?

  3. password is?

  4. occasionally I have seen hosting sites use a path such as /Your_Domain_Name

Anyway if you log in with Cyberduck then you can compare that to what you are giving Freeway’s Upload. if Cyberduck fails then you probably need to call or email your hosting provider for the required information.

common error is in username. Some places have it set to my_login_name and others have it set to my_login_name@my_domain_name
