I’m trying to figure out how to get this obvious block around the picture to go away…when I preview in firefox it isn’t there but when I preview in safari I get this. I’ve had this problem before and can’t figure it out. Thanks for your help.

Looks like the anti-aliasing is having a problem with the background,
which is not an even colour. Switch your image to .png format,
millions of colours, in the Inspector Graphic Item pallet - third tab
from left and see if that helps.
