When building my inline box model site. I have placed a html item and applied the graphic effect ‘corners’ and made it custom to only the top corners at a value of 9.
This in turn auto generates a margin of 9 inside the html item when selected. So when I place a graphic item inside, the max area I have available is an area 9 pixels smaller around each side. So -18 on X/Y axis.
When I place a background image in the html item to ‘cheat’ this and fill the max area available, where the graphic risides behind the margin area on one side it appears to be blurred/moved once previewed???
Is there a way round this as I want the graphic to fill the area in question.
Unless you need the graphic background for a photographic background effect, you might want to try the CSS3 Corners Action instead. It doesn’t use graphics, just CSS3, to round all or some of the corners.

Im trying to create this effect for the main banner on my home home page, this incorporates a sequence of several images as a tabbed carousel effect with both the top corner radius’ at 9.
When you apply CCS3 Corners action the carousel actions falls apart. Im assuming this is therefore a no go area. Unless I manually create PNG. images with corner and 1 px borders??
Can you show a quick example of what you mean by “falls apart”?

It just doesnt work Walt. The carousel panes are visible on the pasteboard and not hidden once previewed, thats all that happens and it doesn’t function at all!!
This is an example of my working, all be it without the CSS3 corners working on the top of the carousel pane. Can this be done?!!!
But I’m not sure if you can use the solution they propose (removing position:relative from the outer Carousel element) because that position model is what allows the effect to work at all.
I think you’re going to have to create your inner pane graphics with rounded corners to match the inner curve on your master Carousel element corners.
Hello everyone, hello Walter, I just downloaded the demo version of Freeway Pro 5.4.3 and I installed the action “CSS3_Corners_1.2.2”. It works on all browsers but not on Opera 10.50
Is that the very latest version of Opera? I’m not sure if Opera has the border-radius CSS3 attribute yet, at least not in an un-prefixed form. If anyone can point me to documentation of how to set this for Opera, I’d be happy to add it.
