Hosting & SSL Question

Hi Everyone,

My local ISP is offering SSL to one of my clients for $260 annually. This may be a stupid question, but I thought if I set the site up on Mals it would have some sort of protection built in. My question is, would my client need to purchase this, or is it already taken care of? He is wanting to use PayPal to process payments, and I was going to use Mals to put the cart together.

As the payment processing is done on the PayPal site then there is no need for SSL on his site as there is no CC info entered there.
