Can I do something like this in Freeway (Pro)?
I mean the treatment of the sliding images on the home page of www.27stars.co.uk.
I guess they are using Flash, but can I do this with Freeway actions? . . .and if so, which?

Yes it is Flash

Carousel (no Flash) will give you a similar effect but without the transition across.
