How do I make Slide responsive?

I too would really appreciate an answer as to how to make Exhibeo Slide work responsively in a Backdraft environment as I have tried all the advises and instruction thus far without success.

Using all the latest Freeway,Backdraft and Exhibeo software - have referenced the latest info from Calebs Backdraft site.

What I have been doing is copying and pasting a “oneWrapper” framework module which contains as standard an image and some text.

I have then simply deleted the image and the text items ,clicked within the “oneWrapper” module and inserted the Exhibeo action and associated it with the exhibeo file.

I have then , using the item handles expanded the file to fit within the html wrapper and input the extended attributes as advised.

When I publish and test ,the exhibeo simply does’nt respond.

There was one occasion when I briefly got the slide to work by accident (sadly a day earlier and Freeway crashed without saving)

When I did get it working I recall having to make additional changes.

I believe these changes were attributes in the Inspector palette from “Fixed” width to “Fixed%” I seem to recall.

Sadly this doesn’t appear to work either today.

Paul,

Have you added the action as an inline item? To do this, you will need to double-click inside the module so that you see a blinking text cursor, then in the menubar, go to Insert > Action Item > Exhibeo Import. If it’s not an inline item, then it won’t flex.

For anyone else following this thread I sent the following to Caleb :

Caleb

I really do greatly appreciate all your support !!!

Having spent some 17 hours yesterday focused on BD and responsive sites I guess I may have over stretched myself and become unknowingly tired.

Anyhows with a good sleep and your initial email to wake up to I approached my issue anew.

I did as you advised - I installed a new module - imported the exhibeo file - added the ‘extended’ attributes - published and tested.

Bingo !!! - all worked flawlessly.

I then deleted everything in order to replicate on a master page and once again all worked perfectly.

Just goes to prove that sometimes you need to step back, gain composure and re-read to understand the instructions and try again.

Thanks again Caleb !! I’m really beginning to see the tremendous value in Backdraft 2.0.

Kind Regards
Paul Rowe
