How is the loading bar done here?

If you select Portfolio for example - http://www.weddingimage.it

And the fading slideshow?

It’s worth spending a moment looking through the images too. It was fantastic to see such happy faces, a bit of a feelgood thing for me!!

Hello:

While the structure of the site was done in Freeway, the actual
images: fading in, loader - are all done using Flash…

Hi Kryten,

If you don’t have flash you can actually produce a slideshow like that one and the loaders using SWFnSlide Pro + SWF LocknLoad from Vertical Moon, you can buy them separately or as a group which is cheaper and it works well, I used it here http://www.paulatherton.com/wedding/albums/introalbum.html

the software is available here

http://www.verticalmoon.com/products/swfnslidepro/swfnslidepro.htm

http://www.verticalmoon.com/products/swflockload/swflockload.htm

or you could use Monoslideshow which I used on this page http://www.paulatherton.com/wedding/gallery.html

it is quite a bit trickier to get it to work but it is a lot cheaper, only reason I used it here instead of SWF, etc. is that I needed the pop up controller feature and Monoslideshow had that - once I figured it out !

http://www.monoslideshow.com/index.php

worth a look if you have a job that requires it.

Thing about Monoslideshow is that you can replace images without having to re-generate the whole slideshow each time so it may take a little longer initially but when Dwayne Dibbly Client changes his mind you can change the images easily and still charge a bit extra  not that we would !
