I have a client that participate in several affiliate programs. she has the html code to put in -
My question is - where do i put it? Is it hidden or is it seen by the naked eye?
thank you for your help! I want to do this right for her.
Also, if she emails me the code - what does she have to do to the code so that I can read it and copy it? She emailed it last night and all i got was the link and question mark (like a graphic is missing)

Okay, they’ve sent you the whole thing as a link wrapping an image
tag. You would paste this into a markup item, set that markup item to
be large enough to hold the image (looks like maybe 300 x 250, judging
by the filename of the photo) and when you preview (and are on line)
you should see the image. If you don’t, then maybe they sent you a
broken image link. (Nope, just checked and it’s there.)

You can’t, unless you download the image from their site, place it in
Freeway as a normal image, and then manually add the link to it.
What you lose in this would be the ability for the other people to
update their image and have it appear on your site. What you gain is
the control over the image.
“Hot-linking” to someone else’s image like this (even though they told
you to do it) cedes a considerable amount of control to the provider
of that image, as they could easily replace it with something else and
you’d never know unless you were always looking at your site. Usually,
that means your client would tell you about the picture of a baboon’s
private parts they saw on their home page, in no uncertain terms.

Thanks walter - I think the gain of the control -for this one product ( the others allow me to change size in the markup) is the beneficial side right now.
THanks for your help
