What’s the difference between “starting from scratch” and using the blank on the right site of the panel? Are there advantages/disadvantages to doing it one way or the other?
I thought blank WAS starting from scratch.

It is, but using Custom gives you lots of control over how the new
site is set up. Stuff like HTML level, page size, locations for the
resources and so on.
I use it because I’ve been using Freeway since before the templates
were available. It’s partly a habit and partly because I don’t like
being hemmed in by a pre-built structure.
Like all good software, Freeway lets you work the way that’s best for
you.
