HTML box Auto Resizing

How do I make the central HTML box which is an image and text only section,
automatically resize as the user widens or narrows their browser window? Are
their good reasons to not do this. So many web sites don’t. I want to do it
to keep the stuff to the right of the box, always on screen.

I don’t think you mean only having the central box expandable since that would make any header and footer left behind look strange.

You should be able to gleen what you need to know from it.
