HTML email text losing alignment & size

I’ve created a simple HTML email – all unlayered, non-overlapping and easy (I thought) – that displays fine on the server but not after MadMimi sends it to Mac Mail or Yahoo Mail.

All center-aligned text goes flush left and shrinks badly. I’ve tried using just html boxes and tables with and without nested html boxes. Same problem persists. (The URL has it without a table and below that, another attempt with one)

Does anyone have suggestions on how to keep my formatting?

Have you applied the Create Email Action to the page? That will go through the page and change the structure from one that works best in a regular browser, to one that works best in an email client.

Hope this helps,

Joe

Thanks for the link. I had watched the Freeway video on creating HTML emails a bunch of times but didn’t know the action did all this. Will give it a shot again.

I rebuilt the page acc to Softpress instructions for the action but it seems to be no bargain either way.

With the action my images are lost both on the web and in emails. WIthout it, it looks fine online but in emails the images are present but alignments are all screwy again. Type defaults to one size and style too.

Seems not to just be my mail company’s issues, but I’ll ckeck with them.
