Hello, back again. Has anyone got any ideas why the following should be happening? All fine on Mac browsers and on Safari on a pc, but IE is clipping some words. If you look at:
Well it could be because you have the “text-align” set to “justify”, or that the height of the table is 154 px. Have you tried dragging down the table a bit to say 160-165 px or so?
Thanks for looking Dan, but it’s not just the end of the text that is
being chopped off, it can be a word in the middle of a line of text.
The box ‘should’ expand downwards anyway I would have thought. And if
there’s a problem with ‘justify’ then why bother with it?
I’ll give both of your suggestions a go though.
There’s one more thing I forgot to mention, the original text came
from a Word document (as did a couple of the unaffected pages) but
even though I’m using FW5, I still copied and pasted into a text edit
document and made it plain text. Any thoughts if this could be part
of the problem?

I honestly don’t know, I’d be interested in seeing what the solution is. If you copied and pasted the Word document into TextEdit and made plain text then that shouldn’t be the problem. I don’t know tables as well and perhaps someone else can chime in.
